HumidX Waterless Humidification
The AirMini’s most innovative feature is its HumidX system — a small heat and moisture exchanger (HME) cartridge that fits into the tubing connector near your mask.
Traditional CPAP machines require a heated water chamber filled with distilled water, adding both weight and the logistical nightmare of sourcing distilled water in a hotel in Jaipur or a resort in Bali. HumidX eliminates both problems.
How it works: HumidX captures the warmth and moisture from your exhaled breath, stores it in the cartridge, and returns it to you on your next inhalation — creating a continuous humidification cycle with zero external water. Replace the cartridge every 30 days.
HumidX vs HumidX Plus: For users in very dry environments (air-conditioned hotel rooms, airplane cabins, desert regions), HumidX Plus delivers enhanced moisture output. Both are waterless.
Note: HumidX is compatible with AirFit P10, N20, N30, and F20 series masks. Not available with AirFit F30.
AutoSet Auto-Adjusting Pressure (APAP)
In AutoSet mode, the AirMini adjusts your therapy pressure breath-by-breath throughout the night — increasing it when your airway needs support and reducing it when you’re sleeping soundly. This is the same algorithm trusted in ResMed’s AirSense 10 and AirSense 11 home devices.
Three therapy modes available:
- CPAP Mode — Fixed pressure throughout the night (prescribed setting)
- AutoSet (APAP) — Auto-adjusting, breath-by-breath pressure
- AutoSet for Her — A specially calibrated algorithm for women, who often experience different apnea patterns (more hypopneas, less classic obstructive events)
AirMini App & Bluetooth Connectivity
No screen on the device itself — all settings and data live in the free AirMini app (iOS and Android).
Each morning, you get:
- Your nightly sleep score
- Mask seal rating (leakage data)
- Therapy usage hours (compliance tracking)
- 30-day therapy history
You can adjust comfort settings (EPR level, ramp time) directly from your phone. Healthcare providers can access detailed compliance data through ResMed’s AirView cloud platform.
AutoRamp + SmartStart / SmartStop
AutoRamp: Starts therapy at a lower, more comfortable pressure while you fall asleep, then gradually increases to your prescribed level once the device detects you’ve drifted off. Ideal for new users or anyone who finds high starting pressures uncomfortable.
SmartStart: Therapy begins automatically when you breathe into your mask — no fumbling with buttons in the dark.
SmartStop: Therapy pauses automatically when you remove your mask.
ActiveAir Technology
A proprietary ResMed innovation, ActiveAir is what allows the AirMini to be so compact without sacrificing pressure delivery. It caps airflow at the vent while still delivering precise therapy pressure — making the motor smaller, quieter, and more efficient than a traditional CPAP design. Noise level: <30 dBA.
FAA-Approved for In-Flight Use
The AirMini is cleared by the FAA for use during flight, making it one of the only CPAP devices you can use during a long-haul flight without special dispensation. Pack it in your personal item, inform the crew, and sleep soundly on your Mumbai–London or Delhi–Dubai overnight flight.
Tip: Always check your specific airline’s policies before flying. Carry a copy of your prescription and the device’s user guide for security checks.
Universal Power: 100–240V, Works Anywhere
The AirMini’s power supply auto-senses voltage, meaning it works in India (230V), the US (120V), Europe (230V), and everywhere in between — without a voltage converter. Only a plug adapter may be needed.

Compatible Masks for AirMini in India
The AirMini uses a proprietary tubing connection — your standard home CPAP mask will not plug in directly without a connector or setup pack. Each mask type requires a matching AirMini setup pack.
